Belgian Beer Weekend: 6th – 8th September 2013
Celebrate the uniqueness and variety of Belgian beer at the 15th annual Belgian Beer Weekend in the historic heart of its capital, Brussels. The Brewers will be located at the main site at the centre of the Grand Place. With over 50 Breweries, 350 different beers and 3 sites centred on the historic Grand Place and the Brussels Stock exchange. However there is the addition of two new sites based around the Brussels Stock Exchange. At the back of the stock exchange is “Beer Street”, a 50 meter long bar with a variety of beer on draft.

The interior of the Stock Exchange has the concept of “Beer & Food”: the pairing of cuisine and beers. Every hour the Beersommeliers of the Belgian Beer café will present a beer palette of 3 different beers, accompanied by gourmet appetizers prepared with Callebaut chocolate, the finest cheeses of Van Tricht and Beerbapas (tapas with beer).
Entry to the festival is free, although to pay for beer you need to purchase beer tokens – crowncorks – at the entrance to the Grand Place area (1 token = 1 Euro). Price of the beer depends on strength (ABV), measure and style.
