Held along the historic Karl Marx Allee in the first week of August, the Berlin Beer festival is a great way to quench your thirst and take a quick jaunt away during the hot summer. Boasting over 2000 different beers and 300 brewers from 86 countries, the festival attracts 1 million visitors per year and features the world’s longest beer garden. This beer weekend is rightly considered one of the world’s premier beer festivals.
Alongside the 2kms long beer garden, there will be 18 stages showcasing live music and the area is split into 20 regions, all serving wonderful gourmet food; rest assured you won’t be drinking on an empty stomach.
Entry to the festival is free and this is a great opportunity to enjoy all of Berlin while you’re there!
