The festival is held for a mammoth 17 days during spring in one of the world’s great beer destinations –Prague. The festival gives you the chance to sample around 70 different types of celebrated Czech beer, and take in the sights and local beer culture in the vanguard of New Europe in the 21st century.
Stretching from 17th May until 2nd June 2013, over 200 staff in traditional Czech national costumes will serve you the finest beer in the Czech Republic’s largest beer tent, holding up to 10,000 people! Also on hand will be some of the top chefs in country laying on their specialties so your appetites will be sated with the finest food, as well as the finest beer. The festival’s own special currency (the Tolar), also helps speed up the service. The Czech Beer Festival doesn’t just give you the chance to eat and drink, but the chance to party into the small hours with live music and after-parties to add to the great atmosphere. Whether you’re a beer connoisseur or just looking for a good time with friends somewhere new, the Czech Beer Festival is a great place to spend your Spring.
